FOR OUR LAND
Short term:
- Establish a tree nursery from seed 
- Map out our land using arcGIS 
- Conduct initial soil quality tests 
- Evaluate carbon stocks using above and below ground modeling 
- Plan for spring agroforestry planting 
- Begin biochar production and research 
- Introduce basalt as a soil amendment 
- Build raised beds for horticulture 
Long term:
- Model a replicable carbon-negative, financially-viable midwestern agroforestry system 
- Offset operational carbon-emissions through sequestration 
- Infuse Jewish land stewardship principles into our work

FOR OUR GROWTH
Short term:
- Establish non-profit status or partner with a fiscal sponsor 
- Apply for grants to support our work in the short and long term 
- Build relationships with partner organizations 
- Build lasting relationships with surrounding farms 
- Design an inclusive apprenticeship program that empowers folks underrepresented in sustainability spaces. 
- Post consistent educational content on our blog and social media platforms 
Long term:
- Produce, market, and sell carbon-negative compost 
- Distribute produce through farmers markets, CSAs, restaurants, and grocery stores
